San Mateo County Health's Behavioral Health and Recovery Services division is seeking a consultant to plan, coordinate and implement its response to recent Medi-Cal changes, particularly the fee-for-service transition that begins January 1, 2027 and further federal changes to come. The consultant will act as project leader, facilitator, subject-matter advisor and implementation resource as the division works to limit avoidable coverage losses among its clients, keep behavioral health treatment uninterrupted, and prepare for more uninsured and restricted-scope beneficiaries.
