WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of Laguna Hills is seeking a consulting firm to prepare a Parks and Open Space Needs Assessment that evaluates the City's existing parks, recreational facilities, trails and open space, identifies current and future infrastructure needs, and delivers prioritized recommendations to guide capital investment and maintenance. Unlike a traditional parks master plan, the assessment will not study unmet programming needs through a community input process. It focuses instead on the rehabilitation and maintenance needs of existing facilities and on a funding plan to preserve them, and it will serve as the strategic basis for the City's long-term capital improvement program for parks, trails and open space.
