WHAT THEY WANT

(Summarized from the RFP)

The Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services is soliciting proposals from non-profit social service organizations and public entities to deliver Partnerships for Families, a prevention program designed to prevent child maltreatment and increase child safety in the home, preserve families at moderate to very high risk of child abuse and neglect, strengthen the community safety net, and build parental protective factors. Ten contracts will be awarded: one for each of eight Service Planning Areas and two countywide contracts serving the Asian Pacific Islander and the American Indian and Alaskan Native communities.

HOW TO SUBMIT

Submit two proposals, a Business Proposal and a Cost Proposal, by email to Tajia Joseph (JosepT@dcfs.lacounty.gov) with a copy to Corneitha Kirk (KirkC@dcfs.lacounty.gov), using the subject line "Proposal for PFF RFP #25-0047, Proposer's Name, SPA #". Each submission must contain five separate PDF files: the Business Proposal (narrative and required form Exhibit 13, limited to 1,000 words per response), three years of financial statements, the required forms (Exhibits 1 through 12), corporate documents, and the Cost Proposal (Exhibits 14 through 16). Title each file PFFRFP25-0047, the organization's name, and the SPA, number the pages consecutively within each file, and include a redacted searchable PDF of the Business Proposal with only true trade secrets redacted. Submit a separate email with all five files for each Service Planning Area applied for. Include delivery receipts and keep the acknowledgment from the Department. No hard copies, faxes, or links are accepted; all documentation must be attached. Proposals received after the closing time are rejected, and proposers should avoid submitting within 30 minutes of the deadline. Proposers must also register in the County's WebVen vendor system before contract award.
