WHAT THEY WANT
The City of Oakland Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is seeking a professional firm to provide independent performance auditing services covering the Oakland Police Department (OPD) and the Community Police Review Agency (CPRA). The OIG is an independent civilian oversight agency that monitors and audits OPD policies, practices and procedures, and may also audit CPRA complaint intake and investigations. Its mission is to ensure accountability, enhance community trust and increase transparency through fair and thorough assessments of compliance with the law and departmental policy. The selected firm will conduct two audits and supply the auditing framework, including the methodology, protocols and procedures the auditors follow.
