Phase 1 Environmental Site Assessments for the West Sacramento Levee Improvement Program

The West Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency (WSAFCA), soliciting through the City of West Sacramento, is seeking a qualified environmental consultant to prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments supporting land acquisition for the West Sacramento Levee Improvement Program. The West Sacramento Federal Project, authorized under the 2016 Water Infrastructure Improvements for the Nation Act, has an estimated cost of $2.01 billion. As non-federal sponsors, WSAFCA and the State of California must provide all lands, easements, relocations, rights-of-way, and disposals, and several candidate properties have been identified. The assessments will document existing site conditions, flag potential environmental concerns, and inform property acquisition, access planning, and construction readiness.
