WHAT THEY WANT
The Washington Health Benefit Exchange is seeking one or more contracted Presiding Officers to adjudicate appeals arising from Washington Healthplanfinder eligibility determinations. Under 45 CFR 155, the Exchange must give customers who disagree with decisions about health insurance coverage or cost-sharing eligibility a fair and impartial way to dispute them, and it is required to provide qualified Presiding Officers to review those disputes, conduct administrative hearings and issue legally sound determinations. This Request for Qualifications is a limited competitive procurement for those legal services.
