The City of Santa Monica Water Resources Division is seeking a qualified consultant to implement an integrated groundwater monitoring, modeling, and technical support program for the Santa Monica Groundwater Basin. The City is the only agency producing groundwater from the basin, operating the Arcadia, Charnock, and Olympic well fields, and several State agencies impose overlapping monitoring and reporting requirements. The City wants to consolidate all of them under one contract, with standardized sampling protocols, validated data and QA/QC, hydrogeologic and geochemical evaluation, numerical modeling, and consolidated reporting, so the basin is managed sustainably and in full regulatory compliance.
