The Board of Directors of Springfield School District No. 19 in Springfield, Oregon is seeking an experienced executive search firm or individual consultant to lead its search for a new Superintendent of Schools. The District is a public K-12 district in Lane County, about five miles east of Eugene, serving Springfield and surrounding rural communities including Goshen, Mohawk, Walterville and parts of Marcola. It operates 20 schools, 12 elementary, 4 middle and 4 high schools, serves about 9,000 students from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, and employs roughly 1,600 staff. The Board expects to sign an employment agreement with the selected candidate in spring 2027, with the new Superintendent starting on or about July 1, 2027.
