WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The City of San José is seeking a qualified consultant to run its State of California mandated cost reimbursement program, commonly known as Senate Bill 90 (SB 90) claiming. When the Legislature or a state agency imposes a new program or higher level of service on local agencies without full funding, cities may recover those costs by filing claims and test claims through the California Commission on State Mandates and the State Controller's Office. The City wants a firm that maximizes the reimbursement it is entitled to while keeping every claim fully supported and defensible.
