WHAT THEY WANT
(Summarized from the RFP)
The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, the largest local prosecutorial office in the United States, is seeking a vendor to provide and implement a modern, fully integrated, cloud-based case management system that will serve as the foundation of its prosecutorial operations for the next decade. The office currently relies on the Prosecutor Information Management System, a custom platform implemented nearly 30 years ago, supplemented by Notes/Domino applications, document management and electronic submission tools, SharePoint repositories and individual spreadsheets. That fragmentation causes duplicate data entry, limited integration with partner systems, gaps in trial support, discovery compliance and victim notification, and a lack of automated workflows, redaction tools, audit trails and dashboards.
